Uni oder Metallic: das entscheidet über die Standzeit
Bei Avery Dennison und Orafol hängt die Haltbarkeit an der Farbgruppe. Uni-Farben halten laut Avery 10 Jahre senkrecht, Metallics 5 Jahre. Bei der Oracal 970RA sind es 10 Jahre für farbige Töne, 5 für Metallics und 3 für Graphit Metallic. 3M nennt für alle Farben der 2080 einheitlich 8 Jahre.
Metallic-Grau wirkt je nach Blickrichtung heller oder dunkler. Schneide und verklebe alle Bahnen in derselben Richtung und nimm Folie aus einer Charge. Matte Folie erwärmst du nur mit dem Heißluftföhn.

Ein Uni-Grau ohne Metallic-Effekt. Avery Dennison nennt dafür 10 Jahre senkrecht, die 3M 2080 hält laut 3M 8 Jahre, unabhängig von der Farbe.
Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Grau matt und Satin?
Matt spiegelt nicht, Satin schimmert leicht. Bei Avery liegt Matt unter 15 GU und Satin bei 20 bis 30 GU.
